Fees

The Alder Lacrosse Club operates as a non-profit organization through the Pioneer Optimist Club of Plain City and is funded by player fees and, to the extent available, sponsors. All staff, including board members and coaches are volunteers.

The Alder Lacrosse Club will not turn any child away due to true financial hardship. If such circumstances exist for you, this can be confidentially discussed with any board member. You can request a board member contact you via our Contact Us page.

All players will be provided a game jersey for use during the season at no cost. 3rd - Jr High players MUST provider their own ALL BLACK athletic shorts. Returning High School players can use their uniform shorts from previous years or purchase new ones during registration.

Parents registering more than one (1) player will receive a $10 per player discount starting with their second player registered for this season (example: player 1 would be full price, player 2 and 3 would be $10 less - each). The system will only recognize multiple players if the same parent registers all of them!!

A breakdown of the 2016 fees:

  • Youth Boys (grades 3 thru 6): $105.00
    Game jersey provided for use during the season and must be returned at the end of the season
    Players MUST provide their own ALL BLACK shorts

  • Jr. High Boys (grades 7 and 8): $150.00
    Game jersey provided for use during the season and must be returned at the end of the season
    Players MUST provide their own ALL BLACK shorts

  • High School Boys w/out shorts (grades 9 thru 12): $175.00
    Game jerseys (home/away) provided for use during the season and must be returned at the end of the season
    Players MUST purchase game shorts (2 pair for $27 each).

The Alder Lacrosse Club's registration fees are used for the following:

  • game and practice balls
  • equipment storage
  • field maintenance and setup (goals, nets, grass upkeep, line painting)
  • officials fees (Alder Lacrosse Club uses U.S. Lacrosse certified officials for every game)
  • coaches equipment and bags (notebook, U.S. Lacrosse Membership for coaches, first aid kit, t-shirt, game horn)
  • coach training, certification renewals, background checks, membership dues
  • facility usage, porta johns rental, lighting for night games
  • league fees
  • player and coach recognition
  • banners
  • internet services - website
  • administrative expenses (printing, mail, etc)

Players are responsible to supply their own equipment. A list of required equipment is available under our "parents guide" section.

Loaner helmets for Youth and Jr High players will be made available on a first come, first serve bases. Please register early or contact us if you would like to take advantage of the loaner helmet program.

If the cost of equipment is keeping your child from playing please, contact us about grants, loaner equipment, and our "satisfaction" buy back program.
